Testimonials

Sharon helped us to sell a 12 acre property with a house owned by a relative. The house needed some help. It was an unusual place, not something just anyone would want. And we were out of town. We had already worked with several agents who were not successful in selling it. Then the market started to tumble as well. Sharon found a buyer and negotiated a sale. Then another party sued to keep the sale from happening. Over the next 3-4 years we had issue after issue with the property itself, the court case to get clear title, and many other issues. Sharon kept watch on it for us herself, helped us work with a handyman who handled repairs himself or worked with those who did. I couldn't even count the number of phone calls and e-mails we exchanged to keep on top of this potential sale. Finally in March 2012 the house closed to the same buyer who waited all this time. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Sharon and those who worked with her to help us make this sale come to pass. We were thrilled with her resourcefulness, kindness, and attention to detail. Sharon always warned us about things that were coming up, things that we might want to do. She went out of her way to research options and give us solutions rather than just let us know about problems as they came up. Clients will be very happy with her honesty, can-do attitude and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done. She was an invaluable asset to us through a very difficult time. We don't always use real estate agents, because we have considerable experience ourselves. But without Sharon, we'd have been lost with all the twists and turns that this sale took. I interviewed brokers/associate brokers from the top three real estate offices in my home area. Sharon was by far the most knowledgeable, honest, and best prepared real estate professional. The first time I met with Sharon, she viewed our home and we made an appointment to meet again to discuss marketing, value, pricing, etc. I was pleasantly surprised with the homework Sharon had done for this meeting: She professionally prepared and presented to me in letter size book format a colorful marketing proposal with comparable sold and available homes, including advantages of marketing with her company, and advantages of marketing with her in particular. She presented her common sense suggestions for enhancing the showing and marketability of the home, was right on the money on the value of the home (a broker from another local real estate who claims to be the top broker in Westchester, and who actually charges you for listing with him, was off/low by about 20%), and never appeared pushy. Once our home was ready with the marketing suggestions Sharon had made, she hired a professional photographer to accent the wonderful features of the home. Within a week of exposure on the market, we had three offers, and quickly did a best and final, after which the home sold above the list price (which Sharon had told me beforehand would be a possibility at the price point that we had decided to market the home). The home showings went smoothly. Sharon arranged a box of booties in the entrance to the home to protect the hardwood floors, and she brought a nice flower to set on top of the dining table. She was always reachable by phone or text and/or email. Advance notice and feedback of showings was always given. Sharon was the consummate professional in representing us in the negotiations with the offers and the contract process, and she worked well together with the co-broker from another office who turned out to have the best offer on the home. I have over 25 years' real estate experience myself (including as a real estate broker outside of Westchester County), and I did my due diligence before choosing Sharon to market our home. I drove by the homes that the other two brokers compared our home to (I didn't just take their word for what they told me about our home and the comparables), and I found the integrity of those other two (associate) brokers highly questionable from the comparables (closed and available) that they had presented to me. I would certainly recommend Sharon to a friend or family member, and I would be most willing to confirm my statements above by way of phone or written reference outside of this review.

Helped me sell a home Helped me prepare my home so that it could be shown at its best advantage. Guided the photographer in order to produce a brochure with stunning photos. Responded to every call from me, promptly. Knows the market.

Sharon recently helped my family purchase a new home and sell our current home. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable. Based on her experience, she provided us with suggestions on how our home would show best, what would move it the fastest and how we should price it. All her recommendations were spot on. She knows what the true values should be in this market and this was evident in both her negotiations on the buying and selling side. As buying and/or selling a home is a very stressful and emotional process, we always found Sharon to be respectful of our decisions, extremely responsive and supportive. She walked us through the entire process form start to finish. She truly cares about her clients and sincerely looks out for their best interest. We have dealt with various real estate agents over the years and Sharon can not be compared to any of them; she is in a class of her own. I would recommend Sharon hands down to anyone and would use her time and time again if the need arises.

There is no one better than Sharon! We had an unusual house to sell and she understood immediately how to market and show the house to prospective buyers highlighting it's uniqueness. She found us the perfect buyers and managed all the negotiations, communication and trials and tribulations that go along with selling a house. She was always pleasant, positive and responsive to both our needs and those of the buyers making the experience as smooth and stress free as possible. We hold her expertise in high regard and would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.
